The 39^th Annual Cary City Swim Meet will be held on Saturday, July 16^th (rain date is Sunday July 17^th) at Scottish Hills Swim Club. This meet is all about fun and of course working to add another trophy to our Silverton Sharks display case. This meet is a little more like a traditional year round meet where every swimmer has the chance to score points for the team and not just those in the main heat. We need everyone to participate in order to place well in this city wide meet because the top 16 swimmers score points. Those 10 and under will swim in the morning and 11 and up will swim in the afternoon. To offset the cost of registration we are asking for $5 for every swimmer 6 and under and $10 for every swimmer 7 – 18. We are asking everyone to sign up via SwimTopia by Friday, June 24^th so that we have an accurate count of those that are attending. You will see the Cary City meet in the list of meets. If you are 6 and under you can pick up to two events (free and back are listed) and you can mark if you are available for relays. Swimmers must be able to swim 25 yards – the length of the pool (yes, 6 and unders too). 7 and up can pick up to 3 events and can mark if you are available for relays. Please make sure EVERYONE is updated as a yes or a no so that it is clear who will be attending. We will be at the pool next week collecting your money or you can Venmo the money to Joyette Schneider - @strykerjl (last 4 digits of phone number are 9598). Please make sure you list your swimmer's name(s) in the Venmo payment so that it is clear who the money is for.
