Clubworx Welcomes You!

Our club is located at: 100 Fitness Dr, Fuquay-Varina, NC 27526

Parking instructions:

●There is a large parking lot behind our pool area (opposite of the front of Clubworx). This lot is most accessible to the pool area. It is located on the southwest side of the pool.

Arrival & Entry:

●Everyone will come in through the back gate by the outdoor pool. Please do not come through the front door of the club.

Set Up:

●The area on the shallow side of the pool is for your team to use during the meet.

●We set up the deck for the swimmers, coaches and volunteers. Please do not remove chairs from where they are. Most parents grab folding chairs from home to use.

●Feel free to bring some pop-up tents for your area to provide additional shade.

●We have one tent that will be used for the meet administration area (on the southeast corner of the pool).

●Please let us know if you have any special needs and we will do our best to accommodate!

Timing System:

●We use a timedrop timing system, and we will have 2 timers on each lane. Please plan on providing 8 timers from your team.

●We will do a quick 'training' for timers at the meet, 15 minutes prior to start time, it will begin at 5:45 by the picnic tables close to the lifeguard window.

Swim Meet Schedule:

●Start time is 6:00pm, immediately following the National Anthem.

●We will complete our warmups at 5:30pm.

●Your team will have the pool from 5:30-6:00pm for warm ups.

●Pre-meeting for volunteer officials at 5:45pm to review of the conduct of the meet flow and address any last-minute questions, review of safety items, etc.

Order of Events:

●5:00 Home team Warm up

●5:30 Visiting team warm up

●6:00 Meet starts with Medley Relays

●Freestyle

●Backstroke

●Breaststroke

●Butterfly (NO 6 and under)

●Freestyle Relay

Paperwork:

●Each team should generate their own forms and other needs, i.e. Heat Sheets, Pens, Clipboards, etc.

●We will provide DQ sheets.

System(s:)

●Please have all entries into Meet Mastro completed by 2pm on Tuesday June 17th. We want to be in support of the latest email by the TSA stating that it makes more sense to not require such an early lock in. We feel that in doing it this way, we will have less last minute changes and the heat sheets will be as close to accurate as possible.

●We will leave the meet open until 10:00 pm Thursday, to allow for any time revisions needed. Otherwise we will lock the meet upon approval by both teams that all changes are completed. We usually like to try to have everything agreed upon before both teams leave the deck that evening so we can lock it that evening.

●We ask that your team take care of their own ribbon pulling/distribution. Please have someone available to pull ribbons at the meet. We will have a table in close proximity to the scoring table set up for someone to be able to pull.

General Logistics & Pool Notes:

●We use starting blocks. Diving is allowed at both ends of the pool during meets.

●There will be designated areas for coaches on the side of the pool.

●The space behind the blocks is reserved for the swimmers and officials, please do not come into this area.

●We set up the deck for the swimmers, coaches and volunteers. Please do not remove chairs from where they are. Most parents grab folding chairs from home to use.

●There is WiFi at the pool. We will provide electric connections for laptops, etc. at the designated "administration table & tent."

●Restrooms are located in the locker rooms.

Concessions:

●We offer concessions at our swim meets.

●There will be pizza available for $2 a slice - we have both pepperoni and cheese.

●There are also snacks and drinks available for $1 each.

●There are trash cans located in numerous places around the deck.

End-of-Meet & Exit:

●Pleasehave your team and visitors try to clean up as much trash as they can as they are leaving the pool deck.

●Please do not enter the club other than to use restrooms in the locker rooms.
