Good evening, Silverton Families!

The Silverton Sharks welcome the Wellsley Wave tomorrow night, June 9th! Below is some information about the upcoming meet.

Please arrive at 4:30 for the team picture before the meet.  Team shirts will be distributed when you arrive.

Weather: In case of thunder, everyone will need to clear the pool deck and wait in their cars. Please do not leave unless the meet has been officially cancelled. Notifications will be sent through SwimTopia to let everyone know the status of meet so please ensure that you have notifications enabled. If you need to leave, please let Coach Gabby know that you are leaving.

Parking: Parking is tight. The top half of the parking lot will be reserved for the visiting team. The lower part is for the Sharks. Other parking is available on the neighborhood streets. Please do not block driveways.

Pool Deck: Wellsley will set up in front of the basketball court (Lanes 5-8) and around to the slide and diving board. Silverton will take the side by the shallow end of the pool and Lanes 1-4. Please bring folding chairs as we clear our deck of chairs. Parents, for this meet only, please stay off the pool deck until 4:50 to allow for the team picture unless you are volunteering to help with the picture.

Warm Ups: Silverton warms up at 5, Wellsley will warm up at 5:30 pm and the meet will start at 6 pm.

Dive Overs: In an effort to speed up the meet, all 11 & up events will have dive overs. Please remind your swimmers to remain in the pool until the next heat has started. This applies for the freestyle, breaststroke and butterfly events.

Officials Meeting: Meet officials (Timers, Clerk of Course, Stroke & Turn, Runners, OOF Judges) need to attend the Officials meeting in front of the baby pool at 5:45PM.

Concessions: Silverton will sell hamburgers and hot dogs, along with drinks, water, Gatorade, chips, candy and snow cones. Cash or Venmo is accepted for concessions.
