IMPORTANT: Swimmers' Code of Conduct - ALL Meets, practices, social events, etc

A reminder to ALL swimmers and their parents, Silverton Sharks has a Code of Conduct. It is one of the agreements listed on the Registration Form in Swimtopia when you signed up for the team.

Swimmers Code of Conduct:

  • All Silverton Sharks Swim Team members will abide by these team rules which will help us meet our goals of good team spirit, swimming our hardest, improving our times and having fun.
  • All Silverton Sharks Swim Team members will show respect to the coaches, pool management, pool staff, parents, team members, opponents, and visitors at all times.
  • All Silverton Sharks Swim Team Members will represent themselves, the team, and the Club in a positive manner.
  • All Silverton Sharks Swim Team Members will sit in the areas designated for the team and their age groups during swim meets.
  • All Silverton Sharks Swim Team Members will show good sportsmanship at all times whether at practice or at meets, including Cary City, regardless of the outcome of a meet.
  • Unsportsman-like behavior is not allowed at any time. This includes inappropriate language, gestures, and physical behavior towards another person as well as insubordination to coaches, staff, or meet officials.
